• your property address and basic property details (e.g. purchase date, purchase price);

• any information you send us via WhatsApp or other online communication channels while we coordinate your quotes.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@thepropertyaccountant.com.au and we will take steps to delete it.

We collect your information when you submit a quote request through our website, and through your subsequent communications with us (including via WhatsApp).

• obtain fee quotes on your behalf from valuers on our panel;
• share your details with the valuer you choose, so they can prepare your certified valuation;
• communicate with you about your request, including via WhatsApp;
• improve our website and services.

We disclose your personal information to:

• valuers on our panel, so they can prepare a fee quote and, if selected, your certified valuation;
• The Property Accountant, as part of the referral described above - this occurs automatically once you obtain a certified valuation through our website, and is not conditional on you separately opting in;
• service providers who help us operate the website (for example, hosting and communication tools); and
• others where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.

We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect your personal information against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
